About the Journal
Launched in 1930, the Journal aims to stimulate innovative thinking and promote a multidisciplinary debate on concepts, analyses, policy and practice for the advancement of Kiswahili, linguistics and literature. The Journal cuts across economic, social, political, and educational issues that involve uses of Kiswahili.
The Journal welcomes manuscripts related to the Kiswahili, linguistics and literature, language policy, and book and article reviews.
Upon publication of the accepted manuscripts, authors will receive a soft copy of their article and a complimentary print copy of the Journal in which their articles appear.
